Serial position effect occur when people trying to recall what they remember from the given item. There are most probability that the people can better recall the first and last item in a series and the middle item worst. There are two type of serial position effect; primary effect and recency. Primary effect occur when people tend to remember the initial items in the series are stored in long-term memory while recency effect occur because memory still working when in end the series.
